Ethics in a Time of Pandemic
The Adler Museum and the Wits Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care invites you to attend our upcoming Pandemic Pangolin’s webinar, ‘Ethics in a Time of Pandemic’. This discussion looks at the ways in which pandemics expose the structural fault lines that undermine social cohesion, where in “normal” times, such fissures are mostly tucked away safely in the recesses of our national collective consciousness. Hosted by Lizeka Tandwa, the discussion will centre on how the on-going COVID-19 pandemic has laid bare the naked truth of the social dimensions and ethical dilemmas in our society, drawing on insights from Professor Laurel Baldwin-Ragaven and Professor Kevin Behrens. Join us on Wednesday, 7thOctober from 13:00 – 14:00 for this exciting talk.
