Announcing the top four PIL Moot teams

CALS and the Student Litigation Society announce the four teams through to the semi-finals of this year's Public Interest Law Moot Court Competition
Following two rounds of virtual oral argument last week on 15 and 16 April, CALS and SLS are pleased to announce the top four teams through to the semi-finals of this year's Public Interest Law Moot Court Competition (in no particular order):
- Thabang Poshodi and Thabisile Mahatlane (Rhodes University)
- Emily Moshodi and Liete van der Eems (UNISA)
- Chimwemwe Phiri (Rhodes University)
- Tendai Mikioni, Mgcini Tshuma and Zilungile Mbali (University of Forte Hare)
We send our congratulations to all the teams who have made it through to the final rounds. These teams will now have the chance to participate in masterclasses with advocates who have argued before the Constitutional Court. We look forward to the next round of the competition, which sees teams squaring off in-person for oral argument at the Constitutional Court on 28 and 29 April 2022.
