CALS intern wins Student Change Maker Award

Congratulations to Abongile Nkamisa, a current CALS intern, on winning a 2019 Woza Women in Law Award
CALS is very proud to announce that Abongile Nkamisa, one of our current interns, has received the Student Change Maker Award at this year's Woza Women in Law Awards. Abongile is a graduate of Walter Sisulu University, where she was the Chairperson of Students for Law and Social Justice and Legal Researcher at the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter. Abongile has also worked with learners, teaching sexual and reproductive health and mentoring teams for the High School Moot Court Competition who have gone on to represent South Africa at the Hague in the Netherlands. Abongile is currently interning in the Business and Human Rights Programme at CALS.
