Description and coverage

• This is a Semester 1 compulsory half-year course offered for first-year students in BSc Property Studies degree. 
• The course is aimed to provide students with business-related qualitative and quantitative skills in preparation of the rest of the Property Studies Degree. 
• The course covers basic algebraic and calculus notions with their applications in Economics. At the end of the course, students must be able to solve economic problems involving following mathematical notions: equations and inequations, geometric series, logarithms and exponentials, matrices and systems of linear equations, main rules of differentiation and integration, and functions of two variables.
