Scientific research programmes

Furthermore, basic science, epidemiology, formative and intervention research in the area of DOHaD are critically needed to address current research gaps and the complex burden of disease in South Africa.

To align our approach with this need, we have six scientific programmes that reach across the life-course
stages.
