Master of Medicine in the specialty of Orthopaedic Surgery (MMed) Curriculum (M105)

105.1 Part IA

The following course, which shall extend over not less than one academic year of study, is prescribed for Part IA:

  • SURG7007: The Applications of Basic Medical Sciences in Surgery in General (60 points)
105.2 Part IB

The following course, which shall extend over not less than one academic year of study, is prescribed for Part IB:

  • SURG7008: The General Principles of Surgery in all Surgical Disciplines (60 points)
105.3 Part II

The following courses, which shall extend over not less than two academic years of study, are prescribed for Part II:

  • ORTS7001: The Applications of Basic Medical Sciences in Orthopaedic Surgery (60 points)
  • ORTS7002: Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment of Orthopaedic Surgical Conditions (60 points)
  • ORTS7003: The Principles and Practice of Orthopaedic Surgery (60 points)
