Vision/Mission

ACTIVITIES:

Well established centres of excellence include Paediatric Radiology, Women Imaging (Mammography including Contrast Enhanced mammography and Breast MRI imaging) Body and Neuro interventional units.

Daily activities include Offering daily and after hour clinical service. The after hour service is mainly registrar run with senior and junior registrars offering different levels of care at all hospitals. During the day the following interdepartmental multidisciplinary meetings are conducted at our teaching units:

Paediatrics and Various Paediatric subspecialities

Internal Medicine and Medical subspecialities

Various surgical Subspecialities

Some members of our division have been invited to be part of the COVID Disaster Management team and think tank. Senior members of our division are office bearers and involved in various national bodies such as HPCSA accreditation panels, CMSA examination panels and management structures, Radiological Society of Southern Africa (RSSA), SASPI(South African Society of Paediatric Imaging), SANIS (South African Neurointerventional Society) and SAINTS.
